I bought liana on the 15th may 2007 and I still have the car. Also I have Altis, Civic 2005, Baleno 2005, City 2008.

Trust me liana is as good as altis and most spacious of all.

I've never encountered any sort of problem. I've driven it around 42000 km and on rough tracks.. its really comfortable.

Remember it more electronic than city, Corolla, Lancer or any other compact sedan available in pakistan...

Reason for little sale or resale is purely lack of knowledge.. Price is all fine. What can you expect for a compact Sedan? Performance like Camry or Accord...Never..

Liana have better features then any other car in pakistan. i bought liana in 2006.i have no problem since so far. it has advanced CNG kit with injectors which make it economical. it has good pick on CNG. it has two cylinders of CNG.

I had brought a Liana in May 2006 and still have it. This is not a bad car overall and does have all the features of a good sedan. I think the Suzuki company is panicking because of less sales but this panic could easily have been avoided had they given a little bit of attention to their quality control. Most of the people who have bought Liana could buy a City or Xli so they immediately start comparing them while these are established bands in Pakistan while Liana is new to their comparison. To my mind we need to understand the dynamics of Liana as it will bounce back. Remember the miserable launch of City.Let the novice mature.

Dear all firstly i'd say I am not sure whether suzuki employes writing all these positive replies or not but honestly I am not suzuki lover or emplyee. honestly speaking I was previously anti-suzuki and I am honda lover.

Coming to the topic, due to my buiz nature I drive often from karachi to lahore or sadiqabad I used corolla 2.0d, 1.8vvti corolla, xli corolla, honda civic 2000 - 1998, honda city 2001, honda city 2006, now I tried with my friend karachi to lahore liana rxi 1.3l cng n petrol.

I only say in perfect long drive everybody calculate TOTAL acceleration, perfect control, and comfort. Considering all these I found HONDA CIVIC 1998-2000 on top of the line and in altis/xli as they drive in same way only shoot difference in altis therefore I prefer LIANA RXI as its perfect drive comparing with altis/xli and ALSO FUEL consuption is impressive @ cng, petrol also better.

I am not sure about every liana that how its assembled but the one we used is late 7month year 2006 rxi. At speed b/w 100-120+ xli/altis jumps like VIGO double cabe and stearing control always shaky over 120.

In this way liana is better than xli/city 2006 at least, and by fuel too.

But the fact is in full-acceleration you will enjoy honda till speed 190-200 and toyota 190km/hr but in suzuki acceleration its not pleasing as it ends by 160km/hr hardly.

Liana is by drive good and fuel economy.

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Nothing has gone wrong with the car so far. I just had to get the doors adjusted as they were too tight.
General comments?

The cabin is very spacious, quiet and comfortable for a car in this category.

Great acceleration and braking and very stable at high speeds.

ABS improves emergency braking substantially on slippery roads which is common in Pakistan.

Features like the Immobilizer, MP3 player and ABS and EBD make it great value for money along with great resale value and strong Suzuki authorized Dealer Network make it the obvious choice for a car in this category.

ABS and EBD in a car at this price are commendable safety features. I wonder why these are not specified in the options list for the CNG model?

CNG Version is now also available in LXI model so you can enjoy the benefit of the saftey systems as well.

Really a great value for money. Good at CNG, brakes are also good.

Any one can explain about over heating

otherwise great value of money.

I have bought Liana in September 2006. Overall I low satisfaction from the service of the dealer and some problems with the car, though there are some positive points too. There is a great lacking in the workmanship as the car water pipes got leak in couple of months and the dealer was not able to fix the problem for three days ultimately replacing the company fitted clip with the local one. The car was delivered in a very bad shape with at least 11 problems identified, but they were corrected by the dealer. The plastic parts are crap and I still have problems with couple of them. I liked the CNG system as it is very smooth. There is a big problem with the rear seat as it is very uncomfortable in the middle and especially for long journeys. It breaks ur back. The suspension has started to make noise by the fourth month and the dealer told me that this is a problem which is inherent in the design. I am not very satisfactory with the braking system of RXi not very reliable. The rear lights are not good looking, it is advised to change the rear lights in a manner that people who have bought Liana in 2006 can change the lights and make it a better looking car. The post sale service of workshop is very poor from my dealer as it is very congested workshop. Considering the value I would say it is a best buy as you get a lot more than any other car made in Pakistan at this price. The Interior is spacious and nice looking.

Car is recommended provided the after sales service and dealers improve their performance.

I bought this car in November. From November till March I am facing serious problems. It was my fdirst day I toos it to damneko. when it reached to the big curve it starting vibrating. i pressed the whole accelerator it wasnot going. Also a taxi overtaked me. i pull the hand brake it wasnot working. I hate this car. don ever buy a suzuki series.

I bought this car in July 2006. Leakage of petrol from the tank, noisy front speakers are inherited problems. But now the interior plastic moldings start falling. This is a crap car. All Suzuki cars are very poor quality cars. I suggest to all not to buy any Suzuki car. Moreover after sale service of the Suzuki company is very very poor.
